This notice explains what personal information Pristine collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email info@pristinecleanwindows.co.uk and we will explain it in plain terms.

Pristine is the trading name of Pristine Clean Windows Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16426504, registered office 5I Navigation Drive, Bradford, BD10 0LW. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect and why

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not sell or pass your details to other companies for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers we need to run the service, and only what they need:
- GoCardless — to set up and collect Direct Debit payments.
- Our email and scheduling providers — to hold your enquiry and job record. Name them here
- Our accountant — invoices and payment records, for bookkeeping and tax.
- Google and Meta — website and advertising measurement, only where you have accepted advertising cookies.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become customers: 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer records: for as long as you are a customer, then 6 years, because HMRC requires financial records to be kept for that period.
- Job photographs: 12 months after the visit.
- Website and advertising data: as set by our analytics and advertising tools, typically no more than 14 months.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Add once the banner is live
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, where we do not have to keep it for tax or legal reasons;
- stop or limit how we use it;
- send your information to another provider;
- stop marketing to you — you can do this at any time, no reason needed.
Email info@pristinecleanwindows.co.uk and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
