What changes the price

We would rather explain what moves a price than advertise a number that changes when we arrive. These are the things that actually make a difference:

  • Size of the property and how many windows there are
  • How often we come — an eight-weekly round costs more per visit than a four-weekly one, because there is more growth to take off
  • A conservatory, or glass that needs the pole extending past two storeys
  • Awkward access — a locked side gate, a steep bank, parked cars over the frontage

Before you enquire.

Do you clean the frames and sills?
Yes, every visit, and it is in the price. Pure water gets into the frame and the sill at the same time as the glass, so there is nothing to charge separately for.
Do I need to be in?
No. We work entirely from outside. If the side gate is locked we will need access to the back, so tell us at the start and we will work round it.
Is there a contract?
No. It is a rolling arrangement and you can stop at any time. Payment collects by Direct Debit through GoCardless after the clean is done, never before.
How high can you reach?
Upper floors from the ground with a water-fed pole system, which often reduces the need for access equipment — though that depends on the site and the working conditions. Beyond safe reach, we will say so rather than take the job.
