    Render and roofs vary enormously. A photograph tells us more than a description.

  2. We look at it

    Soft washing is quoted after we have seen the surface. We would rather not guess at a number and change it on the day.

  3. We treat it

    Some staining lifts immediately, some continues to fade over the weeks after treatment. We will tell you which to expect.

Is soft washing the same as jet washing?
No, and the difference matters. Jet washing uses pressure. Soft washing uses a low-pressure application and a cleaning treatment, so nothing is forced into render, behind cladding or under roof tiles.
Does it use chemicals?
Yes — that is how it works, and it is worth being straight about it. Soft washing applies a biocide treatment, unlike our window cleaning, which is pure water and nothing else. We tell you what is being used, cover planting and drains before we start, and rinse down afterwards.
How long do the results last?
It depends on the aspect, the shading and how much tree cover there is. North-facing walls under trees regrow fastest. We will give you an honest expectation for your property rather than a headline figure.
Can you soft wash a conservatory roof?
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we do — panels, glazing bars and finials.
