Terms of service

Last updated 1 September 2026 · Review before publishing

These terms apply to work carried out by Pristine Clean Windows Limited, company number 16426504, registered office 5I Navigation Drive, Bradford, BD10 0LW. Booking a clean means accepting them.

1. Quotes and prices

Quotes are based on the information you give us and, for commercial work, on a site visit. Domestic cleans start at £15 per visit. If the property turns out to be materially different from what was described — more windows, restricted access, a conservatory nobody mentioned — we will tell you the revised price before starting, and you are free to decline.

Quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices may be reviewed annually; you will be told before any change takes effect.

2. The domestic round

Domestic cleaning runs on a four or eight-weekly cycle. There is no contract and no minimum term.

  • We text you the working day before each visit.
  • We clean whether or not you are at home, provided we can reach the windows.
  • To skip a visit, reply to that text. To stop altogether, tell us any time — no notice period and no cancellation fee.
  • If we cannot get access on the day (locked gate, blocked drive, dog loose in the garden) we will clean what we safely can and charge accordingly, or rebook you.

3. Commercial agreements

Commercial work runs to a written schedule agreed in advance, with dated visits for the period covered. Either side may end the arrangement with 30 days' written notice unless a different period is agreed in writing. Risk assessments and method statements are supplied before the first visit and updated if the site changes.

4. Payment

  • Domestic: by Direct Debit through GoCardless, collected after each clean. Payment is never taken before the work is done.
  • Commercial: invoiced monthly, payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless other terms are agreed in writing.
  • We may charge interest on late commercial payments at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
  • If a Direct Debit fails we will contact you before attempting collection again.

5. Our work

We clean using pure water and reach-and-wash pole systems, reaching up to four storeys from ground level. Glass dries naturally and spot-free; it is normal for a small amount of water to remain on frames and sills immediately after a clean.

We will not work where it is unsafe to do so — high winds, ice, unstable ground, or obstructed access. If we have to postpone, we will tell you and rebook.

6. If something is not right

Tell us within 48 hours of the visit and we will come back and put it right at no charge. That is our preferred remedy and it is usually the fastest one. This does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you are a consumer.

7. Damage and liability

We hold £20 million public liability insurance. If we damage something, tell us as soon as you notice and we will deal with it through our insurer.

We are not responsible for damage arising from pre-existing defects — failed seals, rotten frames, loose or cracked glass, blocked or broken guttering, or brittle fixings — where normal careful cleaning has caused a fault that was already present to become apparent. Where we can see a defect before starting, we will point it out rather than work on it.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Your cancellation rights

If you are a consumer and you booked away from our premises — by phone, text, or through this website — you have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start within that period and then cancel, we may charge for work already done.

9. Your information

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy notice.

10. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you book.
